Just in time for Easter (But TBH I would happily eat these allllll year around!

- Vegan

- Gluten free

- Dairy free

- Keto (just leave out the sweetener if you wish!)

Ok, so if you watched my AMAZING (oh man it was bad) IGTV video then you are probably on this post looking for the actual recipe/ directions as I gave absolutely no helpful info on the video and basically just spilt a lot of chocolate / did a lot of spoon licking #sorrynotsorry

Anyway here is the recipe (so you can stop watching the cringe video now)

NOTE: I just used what I had access too from my local supermarket during these crazy times (aka corona virus), and you can change the ingredients to suit whatever you have available/ like!

INGREDIENTS:

Filling:

1/3 cup unsalted, natural nut butter

1/3 cup natural tahini

2 tablespoon raw honey (or your fave liquid sweetener)

1 tablespoon coconut oil

1 tablespoon cacao powered

Chocolate Coating

2 cups extra dark vegan chocolate chips or chopped chocolate (or make your own!)

1 tablespoon coconut oil

1/2 cup chopped nuts (i used almonds)

1 teaspoon your fave superfood powder ie reishi (optional)

Pinch of sea salt .

DIRECTIONS:

(you will need a muffin tray or moulds)

- In a warm pot combine the nut butter, tahini, honey, coconut oil and cacao together until runny.

- In another pot (using the double boiler method) melt the chocolate, coconut oil, chopped nuts (save some for decorating on top) and super good powder. Mix until melted.

- Drop 2 teaspoons of melted chocolate into each muffin cup, you can pop in the freezer to set the bottom layer or gentle lay the filling on top of the melted chocolate.

- then spoon 2 teaspoons of melted chocolate over the top of the filling.

- Top with remaining chopped nuts and and a pinch of sea salt!

- leave in the fridge or freezer to set!

- Keep chilled and ENJOY these beautiful hormone friendly super powered gooey nut butter cups!!
